Aquarium Tips 1.18

So you'd like to make an aquarium, but you're not sure what gets along well enough? Well I've done some testing, and here are my guidelines:

• Vanilla fish like salmon, cod, pufferfish, and tropical fish ought to be on their own. They are prey to many.

• Crocodiles and Alligator Snapping Turtles are too aggressive to be around other animals.

• Frilled Sharks will attack Blobfish and Mimic Octopus

• Otters eat Koi and vanilla fish

• Axolotls eat vanilla fish and Squids

• Quark Crabs will attack other fish

The following creatures can all go in the same tank without issue, according to my testing:

platypus, seal, stradpole, axolotl, blobfish, hammerhead shark, lobster, mimic octopus, warped toad, minipad, lilytad, comb jelly, devil's hole pupfish, catfish, flying fish, terrapin, ranchu, chocolate chip starfish, shame faced crab, dumbo octopus, clam, tadpole, frog, longhorn cowfish, harlequin shrimp, yeti crab, koi, sea bunny, napoleon wrasse, skelewag, giant squid

The following are amphibious, meaning they'd also like land: Warped Toads, Frogs, and Terrapins

The following are NOT aquatic: Turtles from the Aquaculture mod, Rubber Duck Isopods

And don't put a whale in an aquarium. They're bigger than you'd expect.
