WARNING: Do not set this policy as ongoing at recurring check-in or scope to all devices unless you have this configured as a Self Service policy. Doing so will make your Jamf Pro environment come down crying.
Please Note: Once you've downloaded the compressed logs from Jamf Pro, you should delete them from the inventory record. These attachments live in the database and as always, we want to keep the database as lean and clean as possible.
logCollection is a single script you can upload into Jamf Pro and use via Self Service or silently with a policy behind the scenes! It requires absolutely zero user-interaction. Just follow the quick steps below and you'll be up and running in no time!
- Download the Latest Version
- Upload to Jamf Pro
- Create a Policy
- Attach Script
- Configure Script Parameters
- Configure Self Service tab optional
