Description

The Event Planner is a web application built using MySQL, Node.js, and follows the MVC (Model-View-Controller) pattern. It allows users to plan and manage events, keeping track of attendees, RSVPs, and event details.

Installation

To access the deployed Event Planner application on Heroku, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the application's Heroku URL in your web browser. The URL will be provided to you after the application is deployed.

  2. If necessary, create a user account or log in using your existing credentials.

  3. Start exploring the features of the Event Planner application, including creating events, managing RSVPs, and viewing event details. Note: Since the application is already deployed on Heroku, there is no need to clone the repository or install dependencies locally. Simply access the provided Heroku URL to use the application.

Usage

User Management: Users can create accounts, log in, and manage their profile information.

Event Creation: Users can create new events, providing details such as event title, date, time, location, and description.

RSVP Management: Users can RSVP to events, indicating their attendance and any additional information.

Event Listing: The application provides a list of all upcoming events, displaying essential event information and the number of attendees.

Event Details: Users can view detailed information about a specific event, including the event description, date, time, location, and the list of attendees.

Event Deletion: Event organizers have the ability to delete their events, removing them from the system.
