Project Motivation

The tech world is usually dominated by men, so people may consider it is hard for women to step into the tech field. But how about women already in this industry? Will they have advantages than male programmers? This explortary analysis uses the data from Stack Overflow Developer Survery, 2017 to answer those four questions below:

Q1. Do the salary of female programmers overtake earning of male programmers?

Q2. Can female programmers get hired with a lower degree?

Q3. Do female programmers enjoy their job as a programmer?

Q4. Do female programmers enjoy coding as a hobby?

File Description

The notebook "Explortary Analysis about female programmers" contains analysis related to those above questions. Two raw data files "survey_results_public.csv" and "survey_results_schema.csv" are saved in the "data" folder.
