Note : This project should be considered defunct. The ideal way of spinning Selenium Grid is to use Docker. See https://github.com/SeleniumHQ/docker-selenium

Does the Docker stuff cover Windows based nodes, too? I think thats not the case, at least not for today. I am not shure if running test on Ubuntu based nodes is reliable from Windows porint of view.

So I think this repo still makes sense and I am happy to have found it. Or do you know even better approaches for Windows based test environments? I am still looking for a good Vagrant solution. If you know one please share ;-)

I wouldn't say it is defunct. It just is another option. I would simply inform the users through your read me that there are other options available besides yours. This seems like a very solid repo!
