motionEyeOS Version

I am running KiOS version: 2.8.0

Board Model

Linux kios-3cdd8837 4.19.83-v7l #1 SMP Tue Dec 31 15:33:58 CET 2019 armv7l GNU/Linux

I am using the following board/model: Raspberry Pi 4 1GB

Camera

My camera model is: Reolink RLC-510 (using a pw protected RTSP 'fluent' stream 480x640)

Network Connection

My KiOS RPi is connected to the network via: Ethernet to the camera, wireless to the internet (Kerberos Hub)

Peripherals

I am using the following peripherals that I consider relevant to this issue:

  • PoE Connection; the IP Camera is a PoE camera with the RPi connected to the same PoE switch with the RPi PoE hat.

I also have this setup:

  • The RPi has a cronjob to reboot at 1AM UTC every morning, and one at 2AM UTC to clear old images from the disk (following the script outlined in your Advanced Machinery guide)

Log Files

kios.log

Hello. I have the KiOS device connected to a camera overlooking a green field from inside a barn. And I'm constantly getting this sort of distortion on the feed which is being recorded as a change into the Kerberos Hub.

The camera footage AFAIK is fine. From time to time I do see the odd little flicker, but tools like VLC and the Reolink app correct this fairly quickly.
The RPi itself is not particularly taxed, but it does get a bit warm (avg 85C)

The logs don't show that much, but I did notice this entry from the last few days:

04/05/2022 18:32:04.732 INFO [trivial] Capture: devices is blocking, and not grabbing any more frames.

Followed by what looks like a service / system reboot.

Has this ever been observed before?
