The repo will continue to be maintained. However, any new feature will be added on request bases as I am currently preoccupied with another project. As there has been no bug report or feature request yet, there has not been a new commit in a while.

Let me know if you need any new feature.

So we have a design for about 6 consumer/producer services. Should we just assume responsibilities for the consumer 'producing' to topics or is there an opportunity to simplify using this extension?
