AFAICS the only way to remove a shared folder, ( /kbfs/user1,user2,user3 ) is to delete it and all its contents. Maybe I am not understanding the mechanisms at work, but does that mean the content also is lost for all other users?

How can I "hide" or remove such a shared folder for my kbfs when I don't need it to show up?

@5h4d0ww0lf I couldn't find that option in the docs or CLI help. Can you tell me how to do it?

UPDATE found it. rmdir in the shell does the trick. OK. Will file a new feature request based on that. Make show/hiding of dirs device specific. Because on my Linux machine I want/need to see aother directories than I need on my Macbook.

Added as Issue keybase/kbfs#1542 over at the kbfs project. So IMHO this issue can be closed.
