When I run KeycloakServer form testsuite/utils like described in tests.md, and then try to log in, the browser shows

"An internal server error has occurred

and the log shows:

Hi @Chaima12-3 I was able to confirm the issue by running KeycloakServer, and indeed it returns HTTP 500. As far as I'm aware, KeycloakServer starts the old Keycloak distribution with WildFly, which we no longer support. And I'm afraid that our docs are out of date. When running IDELauncher, please make sure to specify the extra parameters like in the image below:

start-dev --http-port 8180 --https-port=8443

You can find instructions on how to run Keycloak from your IDE using the new distribution here: https://github.com/keycloak/keycloak/tree/main/quarkus#running-from-your-ide.

@keycloak/cloud-native, could you please confirm the information above? I'm removing the label triage and assigning the team label, considering the fact that the issue was confirmed, and it is somewhat related to the distribution. I believe the fix is to update our documentation to reflect the latest changes.

@abstractj I think this is also broken for the IDELauncher with Quarkus.
