ouster_sdk_pep440

Minimal repo to demonstrate ouster-lidar/ouster_example#560 See also: bazelbuild/rules_python#1491

Tested on Ubuntu 22.04.

How to run

Install bazelisk:

cd ~/Downloads
mkdir -p ~/bin
wget https://github.com/bazelbuild/bazelisk/releases/download/v1.17.0/bazelisk-linux-amd64
chmod 755 bazelisk-linux-amd64
mv bazelisk-linux-amd64 ~/bin/bazel
export PATH="$HOME/bin${PATH:+":$PATH"}"

Now when you invoke bazel it will be using bazelisk.

Run the example:

bazel run //ouster_pcap_record

You should see an error similar to the following:

If you change rules_python to version 0.25.0 instead of 0.26.0, the example runs successfully.
