Kaybook

KayBook is a social media platform for creating fanpages with e-commerce, posts, forums, polls, chat groups, direct messages and more. This app was built using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express Js, Angular Js, Node JS).

Environment

Make sure you have a suitable environment for kayBook to run

1. Node installed
2. make sure to have access the KayBook API
3. a .env file with the value API_URL=<KayBook API>

Installing

1. clone the repo git clone https://github.com/khalidM3/Kaybook.git
2. run npm install or yarn install
3. run yarn build or yarn watch

Features

• Users can friend other users by sending them friend requests and blocking users.
• User can join a fangroup and post images, videos, questions and articles on the fanpage.
• Owners of the fanpage can post to the feed section of the fanpage.
• Owners of a fanpage can post their merchandise on the merch section of the fanpage.
• Users can start, invite, remove from and leave chat groups.
