This repository contains a Dockerfile of GCP pubsubbeat. It is made to pull a GCP pubsub topic to feed elasticsearch/logstash.
- Install Docker
- Pull automated build from public Docker Hub Registry:
docker pull kheraud/pubsubbeat
Alternatively, you can build an image from Dockerfile:

A pubsubbeat configuration file is expected at /usr/share/pubsubbeat/pubsubbeat.yml. See original repository for configuration : pubsubbeat.reference.yml.
You will also need to configure a google service account to access your target pubsub topic. It is adviced to put this file in /usr/share/pubsubbeat/ directory also.

-v ./service-account.json:/usr/share/pubsubbeat/service-account.json:ro
The container is prepared to be used with a non-root user called pubsubuser. At launch, container automatically switch to this user thanks to su exec.
