This one is very easy to replicate:

1- open a content that has multi-channel audio from any device (ios/ipados/tvos) and make sure that AudioUnit is used
2- output the sound to a Bluetooth sound device that does not support spatial audio
3- you will see that dialogues are not heard

@kingslay I tried almost all builds that have AudioUnit; and I have to say that this sound issue using AudioUnit is always there

you can also replicate like this if you have any apple bluetooth sound device that supports Spatial Audio:

  • When you open any stream (ios/ipadOS) with AudioUnit, from the control center -> Volume;
  • disable spatial audio and play a multi-channel audio VOD
