Chef 12 migration

I would like to give some help on the chef 12 migration and would appreciate your feedback on what are the current pain areas.

Also saw that someone was playing with chef-zero scotthogan@8c84d1e

Any guidance here?

I think I can send you some PRs to help with that

I tried it just when it came out (and we were not locked on v11) and
everything related to "users", like installing or running something like
the installing user was broken. So something with the variable used for the
installing user has changed.
