Disclaimer: Using mods is against the Terms of Service with NCSoft. Therefore the use of any mods is at one's own risk. The author of this software assumes no liability for any damages such a corrupted game or a banned account. Please be responsible when modding games.

Install by extracting to anywhere. The launcher will automatically find Client.exe If the launcher can not find Client.exe, place the launcher into the BnS install folder with Client.exe Ex. D:\NCSOFT\BnS\bin

Mods:

• Install mods by placing a folder containing them into the \mods\ folder next to the launcher.
• Add a "desc.txt" to explain what the mod changes and a "preview.png" to show it visibly.
• Run the launcher and pull open the Mod Manager window by clicking on "Menu" then "Mods".
• Any found mods will appear in the checked listbox.
• Enable mods by click on the check box next to them.
• Clicking "Restore" will uninstall any installed mods. (Note: This includes any installed by the One-Click Costume Replacer!)
• Clicking "Apply" will install any found mods to a safe mod folder that will not touch the original game files.
• Close the Mod Manager and click on "Play" to enjoy your mods.

Splash Screen Replacement:

• Can either click on a file listed on the left side, the "Browse" button or manually type the path in the text box.
• A backup of the original splash screen is automatically saved and clicking the "Restore" button will restore it.
• Press the "Apply" button to apply the new splash screen.
• Start the game as normal. ++ Note: Splash Screen replacement is somewhat experimental. All images must be 32-bit Bitmaps (.bmp) The extracted images from the official clients work fine, however a hand made image is not guaranteed to work.

Data Editor

• Can edit xml.dat and config.dat
• To use: ++ Press the "Update" button to get get the latest versions of the files directly from the game. ++ Press the "Decompile" button to decrypt the files so that they can be edited. ++ Select a file from the box on the left. ++ Edit the file in the box on the right. ++ Press the "Save" button to save changes to the file. ++ Press the "Compile" button to compile all of your changes. ++ Press the "Apply" button to apply your new xml.dat or config.dat to the game. ++ Press the "Revert" button to restore the original files and remove your changes. +++ Hotkeys: Find (Ctrl+F), Replace (Ctrl+H), Column Selection (Alt + Click and Drag)
