[EPIC] Service-worker ZIM content does not work in Kiwix

We are working on warc2zim, a tool able to create ZIM file from a WARC file. These ZIM files integrates a JS player relying on service-worker. You can find an example of file here:
http://tmp.kiwix.org/warc2zim.zim

This ZIM file works fine with kiwix-serve but not on the following ports:

• Kiwix JS - warc2zim ZIM files are not playable with Kiwix JS kiwix-js#644
• Kiwix Desktop (Linux/Windows) - Enable support for service workers for new replay system kiwix-desktop#487
• Kiwix Desktop macOS (iOS?) - Service workers not enabled/supported in current app kiwix-apple#290
• Kiwix Android - Impossible to read warc2zim generated ZIM files kiwix-android#2222

We should identify the underlying technical root cause for each port and attend to see if fixing the problem at the source (in blink?) would be worth it. Here is the list of open bugs at blink/chromium level:

I did a very quick initial identification of one error point (loading of sw.js) in kiwix/kiwix-js#644 (comment).
