Right now I'm working with bass +24, mid +24, treble +24, peak limiter on / off (ref: a9e6209#commitcomment-112084901).

I work with system sound the most and I want the most from the sound. That is the most.

I may also try listening with bass +16, mid -10, treble 0 for more effective speech listening (ref: a9e6209#commitcomment-113116119).

Right now I'm working with bass +16, mid +16, treble +16, peak limiter on / off. I boost values to max (24) when using system sound. Also I'm working with bass -16, mid +16, treble +16, peak limiter on / off. I boost values to max (24 and -24) when using system sound. 16 and less is good for earphones and speakers. There is a large sound difference between values 15 and 16.

Right now I'm working with bass -A, mid +B, treble +B, peak limiter on / off. Where A if positive would be a greater number than B and it is possible for B to be zero and negative numbers.

Right now with Amazon Alexa Echo Dot (3rd gen) I'm working with the settings bass -24, mid +1, treble +1, peak limiter on / off.

Right now I'm working with a9e6209#commitcomment-115433863 and bass -20, mid +20 treble +20, peak limiter on / off. I may put values at 24 (the max) and less.

Again, values 15 to 16 is a considerable sound boost. Similar to system sound levels 7 to 8; a considerable sound boost worth mentioning.

An hour ago I was working with Amazon Alexa Echo Dot 3rd gen with bass 0, mid 2, treble 0, peak limiter on / off.

Right now I'm working with Amazon Alexa Echo Dot 3rd gen with bass -16, mid 0, treble 0, peak limiter on / off.

Using those ways we can reach maximum Mac system level sound with no sound distortion working with Amazon Alexa Echo Dot 3rd gen.

When working with earphones I may use eqMac sound booster with system sound level 1 and low.

When working with system sound I will often use the settings described in post 1 and post 2.

I have put macOs High Sierra on my laptop machine.

The sound booster software eqMac doesn't support High Sierra.

I now use FXSound sound booster when using speakers, because the sound is not only boosted but the sound quality is increased.

At time of writing I am using Sony XB100 speakers. Here's a good video regarding sound quality of these speakers.

Due to the sound quality being increased greatly with FXSound, I will now enable FXSound sound app when using system sound, speakers or headphones.
