How to Log In
Logging in is a quick process, but may require you to open your browser's debug console. This page shows how logging in works for a few major browsers. Most other browsers should work basically the same.
(The images on this page can be expanded by clicking on them.)
Start the process in the terminal by running the command line tool. Then, open the URL in your browser of choice.
Safari appears to no longer work for this process. Please use one of the other browsers listed here.

Log in like normal.
Once you're finished logging in, Safari will display an error. This is expected, and totally OK! Copy the entire URL from the address bar, and proceed to the last step.
Log in like normal.
You will be directed to a page that says it's launching an app, but nothing will happen after that. Instead, right click in a blank space on the page, and click "Inspect" to open developer tools.
Choose the Console tab in the developer tools. In the console, there should be a warning message saying that navigation was prevented to a URL. Copy the entire URL and proceed to the last step.
If the URL is not in the Console, try pressing the "Launch Application" button on the webpage and watch the console for a new message.

You will be directed to a page that says it's launching an app, but nothing will happen after that. Instead, right click in a blank space on the page, and click "Inspect" or "Inspect Element" to open developer tools. The option may be under a submenu (for example, Vivaldi has it under the Developer Tools menu).
Choose the Console tab in the developer tools. In the console, there should be an error message saying that a URL failed to launch because it has no registered handler. Copy the entire URL and proceed to the last step.
If the URL is not in the Console, try pressing the "Launch Application" button on the webpage and watch the console for a new message.
Paste the URL you copied from your browser into the input on the command line tool and press Return.
At this point, you should be logged in!
