These were easy.

I also tried sending the autumn-aton to The Junkyard.

I got IOExceptions on the turn it returned - code 500.

I tried again in vanilla KoL. I did see it return.

You gain 202 Roguishness.

It found no items - not even the special autumn-aton drops.
