It would be great if the npm lockfile gets upgraded to version 2 which is used by npm v7 or later, since the new lockfile has some great features and advantages in comparison to the lockfile v1. As far as I know, this would drop support for npm v6.

If you are fine with upgrading to the new lockfile, let me know. I'll create a PR for that!
