Reason for it is that I want to have newest code that does it and I want jq to be available all the time instead of having it available after loading the shell which was introduced in #345 .

This should implement the same mechanism as ctags.

Actually, there are not that many updates and I haven't actually had any issues using either #159 or the one distributed with my Ubuntu.

Snap installed software is weird. It cannot be verified if it was installed, at least that part seems to be tricky when done in CI environment.
Let's have important software done in traditional way.
