Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, Cartridges' GNOME Search Provider shrinks down the game's cover and uses that as an icon.

Describe the solution you'd like
Many launchers already store square application icons. In my opinion those would look better here.

Describe alternatives you've considered
The current solution already works pretty well, this would just be a cherry on top.

Additional context
Icon locations for launchers that I use:

  • Steam: {STEAM_DIRECTORY}/appcache/librarycache/{STEAM_APP_ID}_icon.jpg
  • Lutris: ~/.local/share/icons/hicolor/128x128/apps/lutris_{LUTRIS_ID}.png (see here)

This would add another dimension to game management that I feel is not needed. While the search provider does prefer square icons, not all sources have them available and asking the user to manage these would be more of a hassle than needed, see: Lutris.
