I could not reproduce this deliberately, it seems to be coupled to the intricacies of key sharing and session management, so here is what I can see:

Encrypted room (DM), events send from Session "Element Web" with an edited (two times) message. I install FluffyChat (nightly Feb. 12 2022), log in, paste the Backup Key, so I end up with a new, verified session "FluffyChat". If I open the DM, the messages sucessfully decrypt, but the edited message is shown in the original version - with no indication of the edit.

I have not found any way to inspect/show all events, so I can't tell whether behind the scenes Fluffy perhaps is unable to decrypt the edit event(s) or not.
