I just realized this is possible. Take an image, swap it out with a canvas, load the image on to the canvas, pass it over and do one of the many ansi rendering algorithms out there. heck, probably import it as a wasm. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/WebAssembly/existing_C_to_wasm and http://caca.zoy.org/wiki/libcaca
