Installation instructions

Improvements:

  • Improved tray icon quality for all DPI scaling factors

Known issues:

  • MediaFlyout can work incorrectly on Windows 11
    Standard Windows 11 Action Center media control widget also does not work correclty
    Improved Windows 11 support including design changes is planned for the next version
    UPD: Windows 11 support is under the question due to the bug of GSMTC API Session_PlaybackInfoChanged event not firing properly

Some VirusTotal vendors mark the archive as malicious because it contains batch files that can add MediaFlyout to autorun, and the application itself uses System.Diagnostics API to detect media player and retrieve its name and icon.
It is a false positive, you can build the application from sources in Visual Studio 2019.
