This is a long-term support release
Note: the APK was updated to support the Android versions under Oreo.

New features:

  • DNS over HTTPS (DoH mode) - you can choose DoH provider in settings (#1)

Improvements:

  • More custom DNS providers, including DoH
  • Updated DNSSec algorithm, still be experimental and not stable
  • Less persistent updater

Bugfixes:

  • Custom DNS provider was ignored on certain Android versions

Internal changes:

  • LibertyTunnel base PowerTunnel version updated to version 1.10
  • We moved from outdated DNSSEC4J to dnssecjava.

Known issues:

  • DoH doesn't work with Android 10 and higher
