Description

This issue tracks the progress of enhancing Katib Experiment APIs to support various parameter distributions such as uniform, log-uniform, and normal.

• Convert GSoC proposal to KEP: [GSOC] Support for various Parameter distributions in Katib #2334
• Modify feasibleSpace to include the Distribution field. [GSoC] Added DistributionType to Experiment API #2377
• Modify gRPC APIs to include the Distribution field. added Distribution field to feasibleSpace in api.proto #2397
• Modify validation webhook to support both ParameterType and Distribution.
• Implement logic updates for handling new distributions in suggestion services.
• Extend Python SDK to support new Distribution field.
• Develop unit tests for API modifications and logic updates.
• Create examples for different Parameter distributions.
• Update Katib documentation to reflect new API changes and usage guidelines.
