Changes

General:

  • Ignore kops.k8s.io/instancegroup and alpha.eksctl.io/nodegroup-name when comparing node groups for similarity

GCE:

  • Increase default GCE operation wait timeout to 20s

AWS:

  • Decrease current size only once
  • Allow arbitrary placeholder AWS instance names
  • Add MixedInstancesPolicy struct to better handle instance type
  • Validate AWS LaunchTemplate version
  • Update SDK to use IAM service accounts
