The labels have changed from k8s-addon
to k8s-app
. Normally this is fine except a Deployment's label selector field is immutable, so anyone running the old manifest wouldnt be able to upgrade to the new manifest:

I'm wondering if the easiest solution is to just update all the k8s-app references to k8s-addon. Thoughts?

The diff between the two files looks much better. I noticed the new manifest is no longer defining a service account which made me realize that Kops is probably not pruning resources no longer defined in new manifests, so we will have orphaned resources out there, but I'll file an issue for that separately. Thanks for getting this updated! |
