We don't really need the temporary files though. Might as well just logtostderr only.

I guess it would only be better to have multiple places where the logs are stored (in the case of --alsologtostderr we would have the logs available also through docker). WDYT?

(in the case of --alsologtostderr we would have the logs available also through docker). WDYT?

I don't think that's true. Docker reads the stdout/stderr which already got redirected the the log file.
