KubikMediaLibrary

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'kubik_media_library', github: 'kubik-inc/media_library'

And then execute:

bundle install
rails g kubik:media_library:install

Usage

You can quickly add the ability to add media library attachments and attach them to instances of models in your application

class Blog < ApplicationRecord
  include include Kubik::Uploadable
  has_one_kubik_upload(self, :header_image)
  has_many_kubik_uploads(self, :gallery)
  ...
end

By default uplodable doesn't validate presence of attachments.

  has_one_kubik_upload(self, :header_image, { validate_presence: true })

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake test to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and the created tag, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
