git-remote-open

Github remote url open in browser.

Requirement

cargo(rust build tool and package manager)

Usage

USAGE:
    git-remote-open [FLAGS] [OPTIONS] [path]

FLAGS:
    -h, --help       Prints help information
    -r, --root       open root page regardless of argument "path"
    -s, --slient     not open browser (only url standard output)
    -V, --version    Prints version information

OPTIONS:
    -b, --branch <branch name>    open with branch name (default: current branch)
    -l, --line <N[-N]>            open line numbers: "line_number" or "[line_start_number]-[line_end_number]"

ARGS:
    <path>    Path of the git repository where you want to open github.

Example

open current dir

$ git-remote-open # open https://github.com/kurenaif/git-remote-open

open file in browser (master branch)

$ git-remote-open src/main.rs # => open https://github.com/kurenaif/git-remote-open/blob/master/src/main.rs

open file in browser with line number (master branch)

$ git-remote-open src/main.rs -l 20 # => open https://github.com/kurenaif/git-remote-open/blob/master/src/main.rs#L20

open file in browser with range line number (master branch)

$ git-remote-open src/main.rs -l 20-40 # => open https://github.com/kurenaif/git-remote-open/blob/master/src/main.rs#L20-L40

open path's root page

$ git-remote-open -r src/main.rs # => open https://github.com/kurenaif/git-remote-open
