If you start with / (backslash-slash) KVIrc will Show only the / (slash),
but if you start with / it will show /
so you can't write /

within a text i works..

I can confirm this behaviour for 3.2.6 20070817.
It doesn't matter if input line is in "user friendly"-mode or in kvs-mode.

W/ 3.4.0 it seems it is not possible to enter / (backslash-slash), other cominations (in ex. \s) is possible. \ doesn't solve it and it doesn't matter what mode the command line is in.

Version: 3.2.6 Anomalies → 3.4.0 Anomalies

You can enter / and press Ctrl+Enter. In this way it works
