Configuration

  • Under the Hub tab, set the EncounteringType you want to run for Line and Reset bots.
  • ContinueAfterMatch: Settings to tell the program what to do when a match is found.
    • StopExit: Stop upon finding a match.
    • PauseWaitAcknowledge: Wait for the user to respond on Discord. Typing $toss will skip the match and continue searching.
    • Continue: Continue searching even if a match is found.
  • Set up your Stop Conditions to tell the bot what kind of Pokémon to target.
  • If added to Discord, the bot can be configured to send matches to echo channels. See Discord Integration for how to set this up.
  • These programs were intended for undocked Switches. If encounters are sluggish, run the program while undocked.

In-Game Setup

  1. For any bot that engages in battle, ensure the following for maximum efficiency:
    • Your first Pokémon should not be shiny, have an announced ability, or have enough friendship to move in battle.
    • Your first Pokémon should have enough Speed to run away from the opposing Pokémon if this is part of the routine.
    • Your first Pokémon should not have a held item if you are going to encounter enemies that know Frisk.
    • You should have animations off.
  2. See each individual bot page for where to position your character and how to arrange your boxes, if relevant.
