I'd like to get a build of Wine Staging up on Fedora's Copr with these patches, but I'm having a bit of a hard time trying to get a version of Wine that works with all the patches.

I hear Wine 2.0 has the best DX9 CSMT performance, so ideally I'd like to go with that.

  • 2.0: 0007 fails
  • 2.12: 0005 fails

Some patches have already landed in wine, so skip these (alignment patches, cursor fix etc.)

The only important patch is 0001 really, you will see the biggest gains with that one.

I last rebased them for whatever wine version was released roughly ~10 months ago.

Thanks for the info.

I ended up doing a bit of testing and found that cbadc28 is the last update that applies the entire patchset on Staging 2.0. I made a Copr for that here.

Gaming-centred AUR package only uses “linked list cache line prefetching” patch from this repo.
