As I wrote in scala/scala-xml#248 (comment), I suggest we try to merge this repo into https://github.com/scala/scala-xml, this way we don't need to publish it separately which is simpler both for us and for users.

Hi @nicolasstucki and @smarter, do you have any updates on this? I was trying to add -source future to my build and ended up at this repo via the docs on dropped XML literals, but it doesn't seem like there's any way to use it in my project.

@mrdziuban this project fell out of our radar. Thank you for making us realize this. We will restart maintainace of this project and see what needs to be done to have it ready to be published.
