Wishlist

Below is a list of features that have been discussed as desirable, but (as of the time of writing) are not yet implemented:

1. PMI Boundary Conditions
2. Convert VPIC to C++ only
3. Extend the 2 stage compile to a single stage which allows for constant propagation
4. Remove void casts throughout the code
5. Extended support for particle shapes / higher order particles
6. Increase testing and code coverage
7. Parallelization of rho_p routines
8. A system to track performance regressions
9. Appropriate documentations
10. Configurable number of Newton-Raphson iterations in the intrinsics versions of VPIC
11. Inbuilt tracers (not implemented in the input deck)
