I support the idea of providing different intervals here. However, I think vario, heading etc. should be transmitted 10 times per second as before. Otherwise the vario function in XCSoar will be very bumpy.

We have two compile-time switches for the rates.
Presently 250ms and 1500ms are chosen.
Realized in the aes256-branches of sensor+lib.
