These are the KPIs that I have heard for the first time. All I cared about was RUNS and WICKETS until I stumbled upon a project from Codebasics.
🖐 Hello everyone, Finally, after learning about various KPIs from the realm of Cricket, I am excited to share that I finished the Codebasics resume project challenge 10: ”Analyse historical IPL data and provide insights on IPL 2024 for a sports magazine”.
🏏Problem Statement: 🏏 "Sports Basics" is a sports blog company that entered space recently. They wanted to get more traffic to their website by releasing a special edition magazine on IPL 2024. This magazine aims to provide interesting insights and facts for fans, analysts, and teams based on the last 3 years' data.
🏏 Tech Stacks: 🏏 ⭐ Power BI for ETL, data modeling, visualizations, and insights ⭐ PowerPoint for presentation ⭐ SQL for data validation ⭐ Languages- M, DAX, SQL
🏏 Workflow steps: 🏏 ⚡ Data load to Power BI and initial validation. ⚡ Data Transformation in Power Query. ⚡ Data Modeling and creating calculated columns. ⚡ Creating measures using the DAX language. ⚡ Analyzing the data using primary and secondary queries, further predicting the top 11 players for IPL 2024. ⚡ Designing an effective Dashboard that includes page navigation with buttons, tooltips, using KPIs, and conditional formatting of the values in visuals. ⚡ Deploying the solution using Power BI Service.
