Need to insure that CiviAuthenticate works on Joomla 4.0 #14
Comments
@nzampella – I agree. Are you able to contribute towards this work in any way? I don't think Brian is maintaining this plugin any more, beyond perhaps merging PRs. |
hey -- if one of you can work on provide a patch, I definitely can review and merge. I'm pretty backed up right now and don't have any clients actively using J4 yet, so I haven't been able to look at this. |
That's good to know, thanks. FTR, the Joomla 4 + Civi work is going well, there's not too much left outstanding: https://lab.civicrm.org/dev/joomla/-/milestones/1#tab-issues. |
I worked on some of the earlier versions for a website I run. Have migrated this to Wordpress so am no longer able to contribute. Agree that it should be maintained. good luck, |
Thanks Henry – I remember working with you on it. I've started tracking specific errors here: #15 - Brian - if would rather me do this on my own branch/fork, let me know. Thanks. |
@aydun has rewritten the plugin for Joomla 4: https://github.com/aydun/CiviCRM-CiviAuthenticate/tree/j4 – and it seems to work from my tests. More tests welcome! |
closing with v5.0 release |
The Joomla project has said that Joomla 4.0 is coming out soon. Since there are a few Civicrm users on Joomla, we need to know that CiviAuthenticate will work on that upcoming verssion.
Thanks
