SpoutWallpaper is a Windows system tray application.

Before you start, FFmpeg.exe and FFprobe.exe are required.

  • Go to https://github.com/GyanD/codexffmpeg/releases
  • Choose the latest "Essentials" build. e.g. " ffmpeg-6.1.1-essentials_build.zip " and download the file.
  • Unzip the archive and copy "bin\FFmpeg.exe" and "bin\FFprobe.exe" to : "SpoutWallpaper\DATA\FFMPEG"

If a Spout sender is running when SpoutWallpaper is opened, it will immediately become the desktop wallpaper. If no senders are running, nothing will appear to happen. But you can find it on the taskbar or, if not visible, find it in the "hidden icons". Right click for options.
