A simple JS implementation of a globe, rendered by horizontal rasterization. Rather than requiring SVG or Canvas elements, only div elements are used.
This was an idea that came from a conversation with a client about how to implement some form of 3D globe with wide browser support. This was the most straightforward option, and simple enough that it was inevitable I'd build a prototype at some point.
