I have been searching for a Sphinx editor with preview, with little success.
EKR: There is no such thing as a Sphinx editor. Sphinx uses reStructuredText as its markup language. So what you want is a rST editor.
Leo's VR pane already creates a live view of rST. This post discusses how to use external programs such as asciidoctor (a Ruby tool) to update the VR pane. Imo, this should be good enough.
