Trigger rules on events or interrupts of devices, not only on a regular interval

The unpredictable delay in rules execution may have undesired side effects.

My suggestion is to give the rules execution its own timer, which may be shortened on specific events.
For example a switch press, motion detection, or something similar.
This would make the reaction much faster an user experience much better.
