calcurse-caldav sync shared google calendar

I have followed the online guide (https://www.calcurse.org/files/calcurse-caldav.html) to sync with google calendar. While it worked, I can only sync events in my private calendar, not other calendars that have been shared with me. Is there a way to sync with shared calendars?

I am having the same issue and I couldn't find a solution. I hope someone can help
