LH Stinger - Release 1.0 - Beta 2
Release Notes
This release marks four months of continuous updates since the initial beta release, bringing the project close to a release candidate.
New Features and Improvements
- Lightweight 200W Flex Polyimide Bed Heater: A new bed heater designed specifically for use with carbon fiber beds.
- Auxiliary Cooling Fan Modules: Based on 9733 blower fans, these modules offer two adjustable options for HF and UHF hotends, providing over 60+ CFM of airflow.
- Toolhead Support: Support for a variety of HF and UHF hotends and extruders, including TL Dragon Ace, Phaetus Rapido, Dragon HF Extended, Dragon UHF, NF-Crazy-Volcano, Orbiter 2, and Sherpa Mini.
- Upgraded X Toolhead Belt Attachment Module: This upgrade has resulted in a 3000 mm2/s rec. accel increase, pushing the X axis over 30000 mm2/s rec accel.
- Updated X Motor Mount: Now includes a double shear shaft support option.
- Part Revisions: Most parts have undergone revisions for increased stiffness, improved fitting tolerances, and easier part sourcing.
- Electronic Box Design: Revised to include screw-in hinges, with support for RPi and BTT Manta M8P.
- LH Stinger Accessories: A range of accessories specifically for the LH Stinger.
- CAD Revisions: Updated to reflect most components present in a real build.

- OrcaSlicer Profiles: Now available.
- Bill of Materials (BOM): A more comprehensible BOM has been provided.
Upcoming Developments
The next stage of development, leading up to the V1.0 release, will focus on creating the wiring harness and designing a breakout PCB.

The project started with the intention of creating a no-compromise cartesian 3D Printer designed for speed and precision, and challenge certain assumptions about motion systems.
