This issue is related to #64. The BSD cp on OS X has no --preserve flag (or any that start with --, hence the error) as is used in test/meson.build. It appears that it does have a somewhat equivalent -p.

I'm compiling sshfs_2.x and needed to cherry-pick the removal of -u as well.
