First and foremost consider this:

  • Only RetroArch bugs should be filed here. Not core bugs or game bugs
  • This is not a forum or a help section, this is strictly developer oriented

Description

In the settings of the android app, you can change the directory of where the program stores the saves and save states. When I select my desired location at tell the app to use that directory, it will initially accept the directory. After the next action taken in the program, the directory is reset to the default directory.

Expected behavior

The program to save and use the selected directory.

Actual behavior

The program resets to the default directory.

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Download the latest version of Retroarch in the play store.
  2. Open the app and go to settings and down to directories.
  3. Change the directory of for saves or save states to literally anything else on the device.
  4. Complete any other action in the app. Select a different directory, return to the previous menu, etc. any action will cause the program to ignore the directory that you have told the program to use and reset to default.
