Welcome to the stella-libretro wiki! If any of this info is wrong then please fix it. I'm only writing this because no-one else bothered to.

What is stella-libretro?

Stella is an emulator for the Atari 2600, letting you play Atari's classic 80's home video games once again. libretro is a version that has been ported to run on the Raspberry Pi with RetroPie installed.

How to install stella-libretro

Prerequisites: You have a Raspberry Pi and have installed Retro Pi. The documentation for RetroPie 4.2 claims that a "standalone" version of Stella has already been bundled with 4.2 so you might already have it.

As far as I can tell, you can also press the Clone button to download the zip file and then dump it in your Raspberry Pi Bios folder. You can do this with a USB drive or FTP or using Finder or Explorer to copy the files onto the Pi.
