According to the help message the following command should do something sensible but doen't:
$ sndfile-generate-chirp 22000 5 a.wav Start frequency : -1.0 Hz (-0.000286 rad/sec) End frequency : nan Hz (nan rad/sec)
Negative start frequency and nan end frequency are obviously borked.
